Jeff is a Co-Founder and lead instructor of Paragon of Jiu Jitsu in Wilmington, North Carolina. Jeff received his black belt from Professor JT Torres. Jeff competes regularly in IBJJF tournaments.

- IBJJF Pan Am Champion (Master 6, 2024)
- IBJJF Atlanta Winter Open Champion (Master 6, 2022)
- IBJJF Orlando Summer Open Champion (Master 6 and Absolute, 2022)
Jeff began his jiu-jitsu journey almost eleven years ago when he began taking classes with his son, Jake (currently a blue belt). Many years later, both remain jiu-jitsu enthusiasts and enjoy training together whenever possible. Jeff has a master's degree in applied Probability and Statistics from Northern Illinois University. In 2010, he and two business partners founded Triangle Biostatistics which they grew into a multi-million-dollar corporation. Jeff retired in 2019 and continues to work part-time as a consulting statistician in the pharmaceutical industry. Jeff brings his jiu-jitsu skills and considerable business acumen to the development of Paragon.
Jeff resides in Wilmington with his wife, Kym, and his son, Jake. When he is not training jiu-jitsu, Jeff enjoys flying airplanes, fishing, and scuba diving.
